Welcome to Feature Fridays: Women in Business!
Every Friday, we are excited to shine a spotlight on the incredible women making a significant impact in the business world. From entrepreneurs and innovators to small business owners and industry leaders, these remarkable women are breaking barriers, inspiring others, and carving a path toward success.
Today I would love to introduce Camille Jones of We Got This Mind And Body/ The Mom Link whose mission is to empower and inspire busy women in business to prioritize their health by providing effective guidance on wellness practices that encompass the holistic areas of mind, body, nutrition, relationships, and business. She strongly believes that a healthy lifestyle does not require excessive workouts and fad diets. Instead, she encourages women to embrace and love the skin that they're in throughout their life's journey.
At Mom Link, our mission is to empower and unite women in business by building a community of collaboration and support, where women can share their experiences and learn from each other. Through our innovative platform, we are revolutionizing the way women do business by providing access to systems, coaching, and accountability to ensure that no woman is left behind. We believe in the power of collaboration over competition and strive to create a world where every woman has the opportunity to succeed and thrive in their business ventures.
What inspired you to start your business?
Women's self-love/care, empowerment and community
Looking at where you are now what would you tell your younger self?
Every failure is a lesson and a step toward your everlasting greatness. Keep going
What is the biggest challenge you faced being a woman in business?
More so the challenge of teaching wellness to a society that rather quick fixes and not doing the work and understanding it starts with the mindset before the external can have sustained and maintained lasting results. Women are more focused on the external before understanding it starts within. Paying for my services
What advice would you give an aspiring female entrepreneur who is just starting their journey?
It’s ok to ask for help and not buy everything that shines without understanding the benefits for your specific business
What do you wish more people knew about YOU?
I am who I am and I don’t fake it until I make it…I let everything in life flow
In what ways do you believe women can uplift and empower each other?
Accountability, guidance, acknowledgment, love
How do you maintain self-care while running a business?
I’m a wellness designer and self-image cheerleader and love the daily morning routines that are solely for me, unapologetically.
Is there anything else you would like to share about your journey?
When I built my fitness business I did so much in my own strength and worked 18-20 hour days sometimes and my burnout was so intense. So as much as hard work is important, you also have to take care of yourself and do things in HIS strength.
